Lucknow. In the formation of the new executive of Uttar Pradesh Hockey, former captain of the Indian hockey team and hockey hostel coach RAJNISH KUMAR MISHRA has been elected as the GENERAL SECRETARY. On the other hand, the current general secretary and former international player Dr. RP Singh (DIRECTOR, UTTAR PRADESH SPORTS DIRECTORATE) will now hold the responsibility of the post of PRESIDENT.

The office bearers were elected unanimously during the annual general meeting held in the auditorium of KD Singh Babu Stadium on Sunday. The meeting was chaired by senior vice president of Uttar Pradesh Hockey Abhijeet Sarkar.
In this executive, senior vice president Abhijeet Sarkar has been elected on other posts while Dr. Sudharma Singh, Sanjay Gautam, Subodh Khandekar, Tajendra Pal Singh, Pratima Thakur, Neelam Singh, Arshi Parveen Siddiqui have been elected on the post of vice president. Joint secretaries will be Avinash Srivastava, Digvijay Pratap Singh, Paul Devendra, Gopal Narayan Mishra, Tripti Awasthi, Maneka Talk, Kirti Bhadauria.
Nisha Mishra will be the treasurer while Rajkamal, Anil Vikram Singh, Hanuman Pratap Singh, Rakesh Sharma, Sarika Srivastava, Shadma Shahid, Rashmi Singh have been elected as members of the executive committee.
Vice President Nitin Kohli as Hockey India’s representative, General Secretary Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey on behalf of Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association, Ayodhya’s Regional Sports Officer Animesh Saxena as Sports Directorate’s supervisor, Election Officer former PPS Sudhir Sharma and Deputy Election Officer retired DG Stamp Rakesh Shukla registered their presence in this election.
Hockey India’s representative Nitin Kohli and UP Olympic Association’s General Secretary Dr. Anandeshwar Pandey congratulated the newly elected executive. In the end, the newly elected President Dr. RP Singh congratulated all the newly elected office bearers and expected that the members of all the district units will continuously strive for the development and expansion of hockey in their districts.
