Lucknow, September 28: Uttar Pradesh Hockey would be participating in the 11th Hockey India Senior National Women’s Hockey Championship, scheduled to be held from October 21 in Jhansi.
UP Hockey’s secretary, Dr RP Singh informed the two-day trials to select the Uttar Pradesh team will be held on October 1 and 2, at the Padma Shri Mohd Shahid Synthetic Hockey Stadium in Vijayantkhand in Lucknow.
The selection trials will be followed by a 15-day camp of the 25-probables at Jhansi from October 6.
