Lucknow: Rakesh Katyal and former Indian hockey captain Dr RP Singh were unanimously re-elected as president and secretary, respectively of the Uttar Pradesh Hockey at its annual general meeting in Lucknow on July 22, 2021.

The elections on other posts too were done unopposed. Nisha Mishra was elected to the post of treasurer in the elections held at the BBD UP Badminton Academy, this post was vacant after the death of outgoing treasurer Laik Ahmed.

In these elections, Hockey India observer Commander RK Srivastava, Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association observer Manish Kakkar and Sports Department observer Lucknow Regional Sports Officer Ajay Kumar Sethi were present. Announcing the election results, Election Officer Sudhir Sharma (Retd PPS) said that all the posts were elected unopposed.
